These prints has been lovingly designed and drawn by Laura Clare, then produced using a risograph printer.

Originating from Japan in the 1980s, a risograph printer is a magical machine that looks like a photocopier but works like a screenprinter. It has become more popular in recent years among artists for its analogue charm and ability to print at high-volume in an eco-friendly manner. Using stencils and separate colour drums, the print is fed through the risograph machine multiple times to layer the soy-based inks on top of one another. 

This technique ultimately creates a perfectly imperfect art piece, chock-full of delicious textures, irregular ink densities and subtle misalignments, giving every print its unique charm.
